Cross County Shopping Center’s 2nd Annual SummerFest Sidewalk Chalk Art Festival was held on Saturday, August 2nd. There were nine artists – a combination of professionals, amateurs and students, who created amazing works of art in chalk throughout the center! In keeping with Cross County’s on-going 60th Anniversary celebration, the theme of the chalk fest was “The 1950’s” and shoppers voted for their favorite work of art. Shoppers were also able to enjoy a live DJ, strolling entertainers, kid’s arts & crafts, face painting, balloons and an afternoon concert with the NYC Swing Band in addition to viewing the artists create chalk art!

Congratulations to all the artists who participated and we hope you enjoyed the art fest! Take a look at these photos of the event!
